COVID-19 UPDATE

Bond It remains open; this is not a decision we have taken lightly.  A number of Bond It customers are helping in the effort to increase capacity in our NHS and we need to continue to support them.  If they need our products to complete this essential work, then it is important we remain open in order to supply them or until such time as we are instructed otherwise by the UK Government.

For now, the construction industry is still playing an essential role.  Currently, our stocks are good as we will continue to supply Bond It product in line with government advice.

In the past we have offered our customers a service whereby orders below our minimum order value would be delivered, generally to store, but with a nominal £15 carriage charge.  Whilst this previously applied to a small percentage of orders, we have now seen a huge increase.  Customers are placing small orders and specifying delivery direct to their customer.  While we support you in doing everything to keep your business trading during these difficult times, Bond It is not able to operate the same business model as companies providing a very different online service.

Our customers are very important to us and we will do whatever we can to support you in these endeavors however, what we cannot do is charge you £15 carriage when our true cost is much higher.  Therefore, it is now company policy that carriage on all orders below our minimum order value will be charged at its true cost.  As an example, if you need us to deliver a ¼ pallet to North Scotland, you would be charged £144 carriage.  As these costs vary depending upon where in the country you need us to deliver, all delivery charges would be advised on application.

Bond It is a Business to Business company and as such we do not deal with end users.  If you are an end user, we would like to thank you for showing interest in our products, but please refrain from calling us during these difficult times.  We have significantly reduced the number of people manning the telephone in order to comply with the social distancing requirements and we will only tell you that we cannot deal with you directly.
