Charity Begins At Home

The Overgate Hospice in Elland has been providing palliative care to the Calderdale community since 1981. Offering a beautiful retreat to patients with life-limiting illnesses, the Hospice relies heavily on fundraising and charity support.

Bond It have raised funds for the Hospice on an on-going basis through charity events, as it is a cause close to our hearts. And as a gesture in the troubled times we are all facing, we have donated a quantity of our new WHO formulated Hand Sanitiser to help with trying to limit the spread of Covid-19.

Skye Gardener, Purchasing Assistant from Bond It, delivered 100 bottles to the Hospice today to Jess Bailey who co-ordinates all the fundraising activity, which was greatly received and we hope our donation will make life a little easier for all the key workers and patients currently at Overgate. We all need to be proactive in beating the Coronavirus, every little gesture is a step closer to returning to the normality we once knew.
