As retailers and trade buyers of DIY, tools and security products gear up for the 2017 Totally DIY & Tools Exhibition, Bond It has revealed its plans for this year’s event which takes place on the 14th and 15th February at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
At the show ‘where the trade trades’, the major UK-based manufacturer of sealants, adhesives and other building chemicals will focus on a number of new innovations and additions to its range as it continues to enhance both its product portfolio and its wider offer.
Specifically, visitors to the Bond It stand – Stand L19 – will be able to learn more about the company’s brand new ‘Squeezy’ range.
This range allows end-users to benefit from some of Bond It’s most popular products – including the manufacturer’s ‘Saves Nails’ adhesive, Flexible Filler, Door & Window Sealant and Bathroom & Kitchen Sealant – in convenient, squeezable plastic tubes.
The new Squeezy range is ideal for quick and unexpected tasks as well as jobs in confined or awkward spaces.
Product can be applied without the need for skeleton / applicator guns whilst a resealable screw cap helps to reduce spoilage and enables small quantities to be used at a time.
Bond It will also use Totally DIY & Tools 2017 to promote Incredibond. A new fibre reinforced, high strength, instant grab adhesive, Incredibond is suitable for virtually any bonding application.
It can be used with impressive results on wood, OSB, chipboard, concrete, plaster, mortar, ceramic, metal, uPVC and most plastics.
Incredibond also benefits from a unique formulation which allows it to deliver performance to match solvent-based adhesives despite being solvent free. This makes it a more environmentally responsible choice as well as more user-friendly. It gives off no VOC emissions and is low odour.
In addition, visitors to the Bond It stand will be able to learn about the manufacturer’s recently extended range of one and two-part woodfillers. This range now offers two additional colour choices. The previously available options of pine, white and light oak have been complemented by dark oak and teak.
Finally Bond It will also promote its new heavy duty floor paints. Suitable for use on concrete, stone and wood, and available in a number of colours, these paints employ a hardwearing alkyd formulation to deliver lasting protection. This includes being resistant to oil and acid spills.
Speaking of Bond It’s plans for Totally DIY & Tools 2017, Kirstie Cooper, marketing manager at the company, said: “Totally DIY & Tools is one of the key dates in Bond It’s annual exhibition schedule.
“This year, we are particularly excited about our appearance due to the sheer number of new product launches and other significant developments which have occurred over the last 12 months.
“One thing’s for certain. Visitors to our stand have a lot to look forward to – and a great deal to discover.”
