Bond It is celebrating its success after winning a coveted business accolade.
The company, which ranks as one of the UK’s fastest growing manufacturers of sealants, adhesives and building chemicals, recently picked up an Inspiring Business Award at a ceremony held in late June at the Chesford Grange Hotel, Warwickshire.
The Inspiring Business Awards are staged by Datel – the country’s largest Sage partner and a specialist provider of Sage ERP business management software and CRM solutions.
They are designed to acknowledge outstanding and inspirational success stories from across Datel’s customer community of over 1000 businesses – ranging from SMEs to large, multi-national corporations.
This year’s awards coincided with Connect – a biennial one day conference, exhibition and networking event held by Datel for Sage users.
Bond It emerged as the overall winner in the ‘Embracing new technology’ category.
This category aims to recognise a business that is at the forefront of technology and that is ‘ahead of the curve’ in some way.
Bond It’s award comes after the company made a number of significant enhancements and additions to its IT infrastructure as part of a wider, large-scale investment programme.
This on-going programme has also seen Bond It invest heavily into areas such as research and development, warehousing, automation and its team in order to keep pace with growing demand for its range of ‘best of British’ products.
The investments will help the manufacturer to both increase efficiency and output as well as exploit major export opportunities.
Commenting on the award success, Paul Walters, sales and marketing director at Bond It, said: “Everyone at Bond It is delighted at winning an Inspiring Business Award. It’s fantastic to have our forward thinking approach and our willingness to embrace cutting edge technology recognised by an independent third party.
“The investments we’ve recently made into our IT infrastructure, and elsewhere across our operations, will maintain our ability to offer the best products backed by the best service and support as the business undergoes rapid and sustained growth.”
Alan Simpson, Datel’s executive chairman, added: “The Inspiring Business Awards play an important role in showcasing the impressive possibilities of employing Datel’s expertise and solutions.
“They allow organisations from across our wide and varied customer base to learn from and be inspired by each other’s experiences and successes.
“We would like to congratulate all the winners – Bond It included.”
